If this has happened to you, this is a familiar story. You feel off, weird... not yourself. You are air headed and anxious with a brain that won't slow down. You think you know what is wrong. You are ungrounded! You've been here before, right? You know what to do. Perhaps you grab a dark crystal or slip into a sea salt bath. Maybe you kick off your shoes and head outside to connect your bare feet to earth. Maybe you meditate and perform some energy work to try to balance that root.
Work, right? We all need income but it can so hard to thrive in toxic or hectic work environments. If you are coming home at the end of the day feeling completely wiped out, combative and emotionally exhausted, these tips are for you!
Making your own set of Witches Runes is a lot of fun. There are 13 stones in a witches set. You can make your runes out of wood, rocks or clay. Be sure to bless your runes with your own intentions before your use them. Simply hold them in your heart and tell them what you would like to do. I like this blessing, "I bless these runes to always tell the truth, both to the reader and the person being read. Let us always work together for the highest and best good of all involved."
Privacy. Something that we think we want, until someone gives us a cell phone and an Instagram account. People get very upset about the government prying into their privacy, and yet they are likely to spill their deepest darkest secrets to their hairdresser next time they get their hair done. We are funny like that. We want privacy, but always on our own terms. I live in a small house with a husband, three teenagers, and six dogs. There is no privacy to be had...
"You have to HAVE balance between giving and receiving...You give too much...All you ever do is take care of others." We have all heard it, right? I know I have, and I have probably even said it. We have convinced ourselves that there is something wrong with giving with our whole hearts, like that somehow sends the wrong message to the Universe. I am so tired of that message. I don't believe it. I believe that some people were born with a spark in their soul to nurture everyone they come across.
I’m turning 40 this week. It’s bringing up some weird emotions for me. I don’t really mind getting older. I got a text from my aunt this morning referring to my sisters and me as “you kids.” I had to laugh. Age is relative, right? I am nearly 40, but I will always be one of the kids to her. Yesterday, my husband instructed our son to hang his cell phone up. That made me laugh too. You know you are old when you think you are hanging your cell phone up, instead of putting it on the charger...
As a Past Life Regressionist, I have conducted countless regressions with clients. I have learned so many valuable things from those sessions, and occasionally things that challenge my own beliefs. Sometimes people tell me that they want to have a past life regression because it sounds like fun. I always assure them that it is not going to be fun. It is going to be work. Life changing, sometimes gut wrenching, work. And it is going to be worth it.
Suicide. It's not a comfortable topic, but one that must become a part of our dialog about death. Part of my job is communicating with people who have died, as a medium. I often work with grief stricken families looking for answers. I have worked with countless families who have suffered a suicide among their loved ones. I am often able to help them find some peace. So many of the questions, both spoken and unspoken, are the same.
An interview my spirit guide, Hannah. The questions are from me, the answers are channeled messages from her.
Q- What does it mean to be empathic?
A- An empath feels what others are feeling, usually without realizing that they are doing it. They tend to be more likely to absorb negative energy around them, as well as being more susceptible to psychic attacks. Empathic feelings are a transmission of information from one soul to another.
We've all been there. Periods of our lives where we feel stuck. Not sparkly. Our creative mojo seems to have vanished entirely. I know that I have, and sometimes these periods can stretch on for a while. Below are a few tips and tricks that I have used to resurrect my once untarnished creativity.
